Paleolithic and Neolithic Cave Paintings

These days we have been learning a lot of things about Prehistory and Ancient History.
We like Prehistory very much, so we decided to create Cave Paintings during our Art Lessons.

These are the results:

Hello!
We are Milagros and Elena. We are in the Romero Peña school. We will tell you how to make a Neolithic painting:

Materials: A card, some sand, brown paint, a paintbrush, a sponge, glue and crayons.

1-With the sponge and the brown paint paint the card.

2-Extend the glue with the paintbrush and glue the sand.

3-Leave to dry the sand and paint some figures like the people in the Neolitic.

And...Here is it your Neolithic paint!

Scale model of the Solar System

When we show models or pictures of the planets, we usually show all the planets at the same time. This is really hard to do with real planets because they have a lot of space between them. In this video, Bill Nye The Science Guy rides his bike across a barren plain to demonstrate a scale model of the solar system. Enjoy it!!

We are so big... and yet so tiny!

We are learning new things about the Earth and the Universe in year 5. In this video you can see the planets in our Solar System compared to the biggest stars in the Universe. Enjoy it!!

And here is another interesting site you can visit. It gives us a view of the microscopic world as well as the macroscopic world (Universe). Click on the link below the image.
